New Garbage Album of the Day: Garbage have released the title of their forthcoming album, Not Your Kind of People, on their recently revamped website.
“We haven’t put out a record in a very long time,” wrote the band. “7 long years to be precise. We will endeavor to keep this page accurate and honest.”
The album is set to be released this spring through Garbage’s own label, Stunvolume Records. The new website features the promo image above, and has fans figure out a word scramble to decipher the album title.
Garbage broke up in 2003, but got back together for 2005′s Bleed Like Me. The band then went on hiatus while the members pursued personal projects. They reunited and entered the studio in 2010 to begin work on their fifth studio album.
“Meanwhile this is a lightning in a bottle moment for us,” the band’s statement continues. “We know it.”
