Demi Moore Addictions of the Day: Demi Moore will reportedly seek treatment for her addictions to Red Bull, the prescription drug Adderall and for her anorexia.
According to TMZ, a friend of Moore placed a call to 911 saying the actress had “smoked something.” Moore was hospitalized earlier this week after suffering seizure-like symptoms allegedly brought on by inhaling nitrous oxide.
Now sources claim an eating disorder and twin addictions to Adderall and energy drinks also played a part in her collapse.
“The pills and starvation destroyed Demi and this has been a problem for about a year,” said a source close to the Indecent Proposal star. “She literally refuses to eat any food.”
Many are saying Moore is stressed out, due to frustrations with her career and reports that husband Ashton Kutcher has been cheating on her.
“She’s depressed over her career and [...] the stress and heartbreak over the split [with Kutcher],” explained Moore’s publicist. ”All of this emotional turmoil in totality has taken a serious physical toll on her body.”
Moore’s publicist says the actress is getting help to overcome her health complications.
