Possible 30 Rock Ban of the Day: In the wake of Alec Baldwin’s American Airlines debacle, a flight attendant union is asking that 30 Rock be pulled from the airline’s inflight entertainment lineup.
The American Airlines Flight Attendants Union is taking their grudge against the actor, who plays Jack Donaghy on the popular show, all the way to the top, and have reached out to the execs in charge of entertainment decisions.
No official conclusions have been made, and a spokesperson from the airline also explained that NBC rotates the programs available on American Airlines flights. So if you don’t see 30 Rock on your next flight, it won’t necessarily mean the show has been yanked from the airline’s programming.
The trouble started last week when Baldwin was tossed from an American Airlines flight for his rude behavior. The actor recently joked about the incident on Saturday Night Live.
