Mummy to Be of the Day: Jessica Simpson has finally confirmed what we’ve all known for weeks: the singer is pregnant with her first child.
Simpson tweeted, “!!!ANNOUNCEMENT!!!” with a link to a message on her official website. The post had the above picture and the words, “It’s true—I am going to be a mummy.”
Though Simpson and her fiancé, Eric Johnson, were rumored to be waiting for a big pay day to release the news, it seems the couple decided to keep their announcement low-key.
[UPDATE] It seems Simpson may have had an ulterior motive after all. The mom-to-be, who already has an extensive celebrity fashion empire worth millions, has just launched a new skin care line called BeautyMint. The official website her pregnancy announcement appears on also happens to be the new BeautyMint site.
