Megan Fox Interview of the Day

Megan Fox Interview of the Day: Megan Fox covers the March issue of Miami magazine, and reveals in an interview that she feels like somewhat of a late bloomer.

“I was never the pretty girl,” said the actress and Giorgio Armani model, describing her 10-year-old self as an “abrasive” and “obnoxious” loner with braces and dyed orange hair.

Fox also discussed her role in the upcoming comedy Friends With Babies, where she’s part of a cast that includes Kristen Wiig, Jon Hamm, Maya Rudolph, Chris O’Dowd, Jennifer Westfeldt, Adam Scott and Ed Burns.

She says she’s learned to choose movies based on the director and her fellow cast members — perhaps a reference to her falling-out with Transformers director Michael Bay — and that she found her Friends With Babies costars “supportive and welcoming.”

Fox’s other upcoming projects include Sacha Baron Cohen’s The Dictator (playing herself) and Judd Apatow’s next film, This is Forty.

Rihanna and Chris Brown to Reunite on Idol of the Day

Rumored Reunion Performance of the Day: The producers of American Idol are trying to stage a reunion of Rihanna and Chris Brown on the show, according to E! News.

Idol execs reportedly want the former couple to perform together later this season. If they agree, it will be the first time the two have appeared together in public since 2009, when Brown was arrested for assaulting Rihanna. The two last shared a stage in 2008.

Although Brown’s publicist has denied rumors that the controversial singer and Rihanna are back together, he was recently spotted at her private birthday party in Beverly Hills.

Rihanna’s rep denied the report of a planned Idol reunion, and Fox hasn’t commented on the possible collaboration, which is still “in the early stages of discussion.”

Given the reaction to Brown’s return to the Grammy Awards, the reunion would undoubtedly get a lot of attention — but maybe not the kind of attention the network wants.

Limp Bizkit Record Deal of the Day

Limp Bizkit Record Deal of the Day: Rapper Lil Wayne revealed last night that ’90s rap-rockers Limp Bizkit have signed with Wayne’s Cash Money Records, making them the first rock act on the label — unless you count Weezy himself, who released a controversial rock album, Rebirth, in 2010.

Wayne made the announcement in a surprise call to New York City radio station KissFM’s soul-themed show, “Kissing After Dark,” and Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst confirmed on Twitter that it wasn’t a joke.

“The game is missing danger, electricity, and rock n roll!!!! Cash Money Limp Bizkit,” Durst wrote, adding “rock s— doesn’t rock anymore! They say the whole game done went pop so I’m back in this ho! #CMLB.”

The move puts the Bizkit crew back on a major label after being dropped by Interscope last year due to lackluster sales of their 2011 comeback album, Gold Cobra.

    Rehab Stint of the Day

Rehab Stint of the Day: 300 star Gerard Butler is dealing with a prescription drug problem at the Betty Ford Clinic, TMZ reports.

The 42-year-old actor reportedly began taking pain medication to deal with the physical strain of his turn as King Leonidas back in 2006, and things got worse when he was knocked off his surfboard by a 30-foot wave while filming a scene for Of Men and Mavericks last December.

Butler described the accident, which sent him to the hospital, as “a pretty close call.”

Worried that he was growing too dependent on painkillers, Butler decided to get help three weeks ago, TMZ says, adding that sources say Butler also “developed issues with cocaine,” but his injuries and prescription meds are “the root problem.”

He’s due to leave Betty Ford later today.

Sex Tape Settlement of the Day

Sex Tape Settlement of the Day: Rielle Hunter, former mistress of John Edwards, has settled the civil case over a sex tape she filmed with the ex-presidential candidate in 2006.

Hunter was declared the owner of the video, and former Edwards campaign aide Andrew Young — who allegedly took the tape from Hunter in 2010 — was ordered to turn the tape over to be destroyed within 30 days.

Young and his wife weren’t required to admit liability as part of the settlement.

Edwards — who admitted in 2010 that he was the father of Hunter’s child — is currently facing legal trouble of his own. He’s accused of spending $1 million in campaign donations on his attempt to cover up his affair with Hunter.

That trial was supposed to take place last month, but it has now been delayed until March 26th so Edwards can have a medical procedure to treat a serious heart condition.

    Celebrity Scandal of the Day

Celebrity Scandal of the Day: Director-producer Thomas H. Ince was a powerful figure in the 1920′s film industry.

Although he started his career as a silent actor, he invented many techniques that propelled the movie business into the Golden Age. Ince also built his own studio in Culver City, which would later became the home of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.

Sadly, he is better remembered for the rumors surrounding his death than his achievements in film. His official cause of death was a heart attack, but other accounts suggest it was something far more scandalous.

In 1924, Ince was invited to a party aboard the Oneida, a yacht owned by newspaper magnate Randolph William Hearst. The wealthy businessman also invited his mistress, actress Marion Davies, and Charlie Chaplin because he suspected the two were carrying on an affair behind his back.

According to Hollywood lore, Hearst discovered his mistress and Chaplin in a compromising position. The newspaper magnate supposedly went for his gun, and Davies’ scream of surprise sent Ince running in to see what the commotion was all about.

In the ensuing scuffle, Heart allegedly shot Ince instead of Chaplin. Ince was cremated without an autopsy, which only fueled the rumor mill.

Some say the famous producer fell ill on the yacht, and actually left the boat alive in San Diego where a doctor attempted to treat his ailments. Other versions of the story say that Chaplin ran on deck while Hearst was shooting, and Ince was at the wrong place at the wrong time.

We’ll never know the truth about Ince’s death, but the gossip surrounding his passing has become one of Hollywood’s most enduring urban legends.

Trouble With The Law of the Day

Trouble With The Law of the Day: Put on your surprised faces, because Chris Brown is in trouble with the cops again.

The Grammy-winning singer is being accused of robbing a fan in front of a Miami club. According to the incident report, Brown and rapper Tyga were leaving Cameo on Miami Beach last weekend when Christal Shanae Spann followed them outside.

She then took a picture of Brown while he was sitting in his Bentley, and the angry star allegedly reached through the open window and plucked the iPhone out of her hands.

Spann claims he said “B*tch, you ain’t going to put that on no website,” before driving away with the phone.

Brown has a dark history of legal problems: three years ago he was charged with felony assault after he attacked his then-girlfriend Rihanna before an awards show. The former couple are now rumored to be reuniting.

Bullets Over Broadway of the Day

Bullets Over Broadway of the Day: Woody Allen’s 1994 hit, Bullets Over Broadway, is making a logical jump to the Great White Way next year.

The original film, set in the 1920′s, follows the story of a struggling playwright who finds out his play will be mounted on Broadway. Things take a turn for the worse when the writer finds out the show is being backed by a mobster who insists his dim-witted girlfriend be the star.

The musical adaptation will be written by Allen, who penned the original Oscar-nominated screenplay with Douglas McGrath. The score will incorporate existing music from the 20′s time period.

Allen’s last Broadway effort, the play Relatively Speaking, closed last month.

Whitney Houston Follow Up of the Day: The controversial National Enquirer photo of Whitney Houston in her casket did not come from the Whigham Funeral Home, according to the owner.

“I’m going to answer you as the publicist told me to answer you: We have no comment. But it was not the funeral home,” owner Carolyn Whigham told the Los Angeles Times. “You guys are getting me in the middle.”

The photo, which ran on the cover of the latest National Enquirer, showed Houston inside a half-opened casket, wearing a deep purple dress with a jeweled broach and earrings.

“I am very angry, very upset, just like the family, just like the fans,” said Whigham, adding that the home dislikes the photo since it implicates them. “Whitney was a personal friend to me and my family. We would not do that.”

“I thought it was beautiful,” Enquirer publisher Mary Beth Wright told FoxNews.com. The tabloid, which has been widely criticized since they published the photo, will not be releasing any details about how the picture was obtained.

It continues to be unclear where the photo came from, or who may have been paid for it. According to Whigham, a publicist for the Houston family will soon release a statement about the picture.
